It is with deep sadness that
we have to announce that
Bill Eustace, Chairman of
the Milton Keynes Camcorder
Club, passed away suddenly
on the morning of Monday 8th
December.
Bill was one of the founder
members of the Milton Keynes
Camcorder club in 1995, and
was its longest serving
chairman.
He will be remembered as
being one of the most active
members of the club,
engaging in several filming
projects with other club
members in diverse roles
ranging from cameraman or
soundman, to advising on
structuring films and
editing. He was always
willing to help members,
regardless of their
experience, and mentored
many budding filmmakers
within the club. When not
helping others, Bill also
found time to work on his
own projects.
His friendly and humorous
demeanour was appreciated by
new and old members alike,
and this approach was
instrumental in many of the
club’s successes, and
enduring relationships with
associations in and around
Milton Keynes. In his
chairman role, executive
committee members welcomed
that committee meetings were
as much as a social event as
the club evenings
themselves.
Bill will be greatly missed
by past and present members
of Milton Keynes Camcorder
Club and the IAC.
His Funeral was held at the
Crown Hill Crematorium,
Dansteed Way, Milton Keynes
on Friday 19th
December at 2.30pm.
Donations (for Cancer
Research UK) may be sent to
HW Mason and sons in Stony
Stratford. |
