MKCC is a small club of ordinary people who want to share their passion for creating films/videos.

Our members have a wide range of experiences, from complete beginners, up to advanced and semi-professional film makers.

Many people buy a camcorder and become excited about their creative plans for their new purchase. For example, you might want to make a video message to send to family overseas; you might want to put yourself onto YouTube; or you might have taken footage already and have little idea what to do with it, or you have ideas, but don’t know how to make them a reality. You have big  plans for a short film, or, perhaps a major production of epic proportions. So, stay with us for a moment and hold that thought.

Whatever the reason you have for picking up a camcorder and shooting something, we at MKCC know one thing to be true: It’s incredibly difficult (and sometimes near impossible) to make a good video on your own. There are many frustrations and pitfalls. Liability insurance costs money. Production music costs money and comes with a minefield of copyright issues the minute you try to use it. Lights cost money. Advice costs money. Software…? Well… I suspect you’ve got the picture.

We’ve all been there. You’ve purchased your camcorder and taken some footage to start your new project. It could be good and it could be bad – who knows?
