Equipment Hire and Public Liability

A big benefit of club membership is that members can hire from our equipment list for FREE. The club has several large items including tripod dollies, redhead/blonde lights and light stands, plus over 1000 production music CDs. (MKCC has a special music usage licence to use these but there are strict rules to follow). In addition, MKCC has public liability insurance in place for members taking part in club approved video shoots.

Club History

Back in 1995, the “Milton Keynes and District Cine and Video Club” was formed and met up in Newport Pagnell. The club changed its name to Milton Keynes Camcorder Club in 1997. Since then, the club has delivered several major projects, including instructional videos, local event coverage, charitable documentaries and several club member videos. MKCC is affiliated with the IAC (The Institute Of Amateur Cinematographers).  Members from the club are encouraged to participate in competitions and individual members have enjoyed success in IAC competitions, winning bronze, silver, and gold seal awards.
